Luminaires for clean rooms and cleanrooms are usually flush-mounted and fitted precisely into the cleanroom ceiling. Closed versions are preferable here as they are much easier to clean.

Depending on the type and classification of a room, flush-mounted louvre/recessed luminaires are supplemented in practice by LED strip lights or teardrop luminaires suitable for cleanrooms. These are mounted on the ceiling profile in a user-specific manner and ensure optimized illumination of individual work areas. The definition of light color and illuminance is part of detailed planning and can be configured depending on use.
