Material lock
Material flow
Depending on the type of material, weight and size, material can be fed in and out via floor-level material airlocks [optionally with swing doors, high-speed doors or roller shutter systems] or via material pass-throughs built into the wall system.
All systems are used for the targeted, cleanroom-compatible infeed and outfeed of materials into and out of the cleanroom. It is important to maintain the cleanroom atmosphere at the same time without pressure loss and contamination.
In the case of material pass-throughs and material airlocks, the doors should be interlockable either mechanically or electromagnetically [no simultaneous opening of both doors, as with personnel airlocks].
Even with pass-through systems and material airlocks, attention must be paid to a cleanroom-compatible, easy-to-clean design and surface finish. The airlock systems from LINE GmbH are all made of stainless steel and aluminum.
