Floor covering

Whether an existing floor can be used depends largely on its age and maintenance condition. Depending on the condition and suitability of the existing floor covering, it may be possible to create a cleanroom without additional floor installation. Sealed or coated surfaces such as epoxy resin floors are particularly suitable.

If retrofitting is required, we rely on high-quality floor coverings such as PVC, natural rubber or linoleum - optionally with all-round coving for easier cleaning.

A cleanroom floor must meet special requirements: It is smooth, seamlessly welded and is characterized by high abrasion resistance as well as mechanical and chemical resistance. It must also be impermeable to liquids, slip-resistant and suitable for abrasive cleaning processes. Other important properties include color fastness, UV and temperature resistance and - if required - electrical conductivity (ESD).
